For those of our peregrines' fans who are outside the 'Peg, from about noon today, the weather has gone downhill. Not unexpected, just not appreciated. Wind came up about noon, clouds have come in, rain expected ... aw heck, here's the forecast for the next week ....

Thursday Cloudy. 60 percent chance of showers in the morning. Rain beginning later in the morning. Amount 10 to 20 mm. Wind southeast 40 km/h gusting to 60. High 17 with temperature falling to 11 in the afternoon. Thursday night Rain ending late in the evening then cloudy. Amount 5 mm. Wind east 30 km/h becoming light early in the evening. Temperature steady near 10.
Friday Rain. High 11.
Saturday Rain. Windy. Low plus 5. High 8.
Sunday Cloudy with 40 percent chance of flurries or rain showers. Low zero. High 6.
Monday A mix of sun and cloud. Low plus 2. High 18.

So what does that mean? That it is unlikely that I will disturb the birds for a "chick-check" until its warmer and drier.
