That feeding sure wasn't very long... must have been a wee snack! ;)

11:30ish - Princess:  "Where is that Bird?!?  these babies need to eat!  I might as well go and find something myself!!"

A very short time after Mom leaves, Dad arrives:  "Hi kids, just dropped in for a wee visit - Whoops...there's Mom and she seems a little ticked...okay, okay, I'm leaving!  Sorry I forgot to bring food!"

11:43 and the efficient and capable Princess has fed the babies and they're tucked in and napping once again, well-fed and happy. ;D

...I saw a feeding yesterday evening and everyone was being served. I don't recall where I saw the post, but TPC reminded us that while we may see one chick not eating much during one meal, they could have had a really good feed at the previous meal...
Yes Jo, I remember TPC posting that on yesterday's observation thread, I think. I'm sure that we don't need to be too concerned about the 4th chick not getting much to eat. You're right, Princess has demonstrated herself to be a very good mom and I'm sure she is doing her best to look after all of her chicks. I think the reason they fall over while eating is because that's what they do right now, being so young. I have seen this occur with other peregrine chicks on other webcams and they seem to do just fine. :D

Princess is a very good mom and it would seem that Ivy has adapted to fatherhood quite well so I don't think they've got things well under control. :)

I hate to be so repetitive....but every day I can't help thinking - with this incredible amount of heavy rain lately - I do not believe they would have survived the East Ledge, TupperBin or no Tupperbin-  :o THANK HEAVENS THEY NESTED ON THE WEST!!!!!  ;D ;D ;D
My sentiments exactly, ballywing! I have had this very thought almost every day, with all this rain we are getting in Winnipeg! :o

I meant to say "good to see everyone is doing well", not "wekk"!  Still getting used to typing on this thing!

And BTW, good morning to fellow Phanatics, silent and otherwise.

Got to see another feeding finally - went through falcon-withdrawal yesterday as internet stopped working and didn't start up again until late last night when it was too dark to check in.  So happy to see everyone is doing wekk in spite of heavy rains which don't seem to be even phasing them.  And if it's possible, the chicks seem bigger than when I last saw them, 18 hours ago!

Feeding is going on now but Princess is running out of food. Ivy stood by in the rain for awhile but than shook himself off and went to find shelter

Princess looked at him when he took off as if to say, where are you going?

Okay, feeding is officially over. Princess has gathered all under her wings.

8:40 am local Parent (Ivy I think) keeping chicks warm. Can see little heads poking out from under him. Looks like he's using his wings as a tent to keep them cozy.

Pouring rain right now and some lightening a few minutes ago. It's 17c with a high of 24 this afternoon.  There is a severe thunderstorm watch and the weather network is predicting 20 mm of rain from Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon.

I just saw a change of command, and I do mean command. If we could read beaks (lips), I would say there were a few choice words in the way it was "said". Lots of body language too! LOL  :o

Good morning to all. I do not think we had the rain that was predicted last night. I hope the worst is over, but you never know. Hoping to see more of the chicks playing Peek-a-boo from under Princess/Ivy today. And I really am looking forward to the butt-scoot TPC explained in her post yesterday.  ;D
