??? ??? ??? ??? ???
I am wondering where the best place to start a personal Fledge Watch would be.  I'll be downtown tomorrow afternoon / evening so thought I would stop by (for my very first time) to see if I can spot any of our Royals.  :D
I've missed all the watching action so far, hoping to spend some time later in the am tomorrow before work. Will probably just wander around the Radisson area til I see people with binoculars!!  :P I know last year there were parking lots about a block south of the Radisson that people use to hang around, lots of open area all around to see any action. I think the Phanatics usually end up finding each other eventually ShoeChick! 8)

YES, black skies and thunder beginning in the west of the city - hope our fledgers are under cover!!  :-*

Almost 4:30pm here in Winnnipeg & very nasty looking clouds heading in from the South and West.  Wind has also picked up so it's safe to say we are in for another doozie of a storm.  I wonder if the boys will come back home to the nice dry nestbox when the rain hits?

Someone on the CBC form said there is a video of one of the chics flying back into the nest?   I wish Tracy was here so she could give us a update.

This is the video Tracy posted the day before Loki fledged - it could well be of Loki. Whichever one it was, he wanted to get back into the box but his brother wouldn't move out of the way, so he took a flying leap around him onto the edge of the nestbox. A regular little daredevil. At that point he hadn't made a full-fledged flight.

They may have been making reference to TPC's YouTube videos. The most current was posted July 3rd and it gives us a really good look at what the ledge looks like outside the nest box.

Hello all;

Wow, lots of action this weekend.  The play-by-play provided on this site is just wonderful - many thanks to all.

I just had a look at the Chick Blog and found the most beautiful face shot of Loki (I think it's Loki) on the ledge under the nestbox from last week.  If you havn't had a look at it I highly recommend it.
