Obviously still a gorgeous warm day in Edmonton.  Mom sitting out sunning during naptime.  I remember doing something similar, many years back, baby monitor at my side.

So cute the way the little one looks out from behind Mama on the edge standing guard.
So nice to get these early morning pictures.  Thanks SGB.

Good morning one and all...just a couple of early morning pics..still a little too washed out in the nest box to get semi-good pics, so..I'll wait a little longer..

7:32 EST time and having a morning coffee before I go out for errands later.  Our little chickie is in a ball with mom/dad watching over her.  Oh time to cuddle now and have a little chat  :)  I swear sometimes it looks they are having a chat!

Tracy was right, it's harder to watch one lone chick as opposed to a clutch of them.  I always think she must be lonely and need someone to scream with.  It's too bad the chicks they tried to foster in Manitoba weren't the same age - they might have been able to give our little girl here some siblings to play with.

Mom/dad has stepped out, hopefully breakfast will be served shortly  :D

I'm thinking it is Dad right now.  Chickie is so much bigger proportionally and also the parent is only about a third the length of the box.  Mom seems to be about a half or more.
Hey.... was that a quick shift change?  The parent now looks much bigger.

Here's the bedtime snack..my eyesight's horrible as well...even if it were good, I still don't think I would know the difference in the parents...even though Bev. told me what to look for... ;D

Thank you for the pictures SGB, she sure is a cutie.  I'm not sure which is mom and which is dad yet to be honest.  I don't have the best vision in the world and I have to wear reading glasses to see my monitor, unfortunately said glasses are in my desk at work so I"m a little visually challenged this evening.  I just always assume it's mom but I know that's not right cause sometimes when Bev would post she'd say 'and here's a shot of dad' and I'd think 'oh I thought it was mom'.. :D
