caught 2 on the nest box rim this morning .was not able to watch for 2 days so  :o :o
Looks like Radisson is starting to leave bigger bits of pry in box for kids to start self feed lessons. I remember when she did this last year

I am organizing a watch in conjunction with Louise at the Uni. very nervous about it .
We will see how it goes.

I am most nervous about if one comes to the ground.  i hope I have people to retrieve when I need them to.
A few shots from this morning

There is at least one chick that loves looking out, so I'm watching cam 3 often. Just a bit ago, I wondered if one chick was standing on the nest box edge!

The rate of progression day by day of the dark feathers is fairly impressive.  They are starting to look a little crowded too.  Won't it be interesting once the wingercising starts!

Thanks Bev.  I've had the cam up all evening while I"m reading.  So nice to see them so active now instead of just snoozing...although I'd watch them even if that's all they were doing.

These 4 are adorable, they are such a tight knit little pod.  Two of them are turned facing each now as if they're having a conversation...very cute  :-* :-*

i wish I could do the photo thing, because this is too cute -- all four shoulder to shoulder along the front of the box.

I will make a slideshow tomorrow of some of my shots.
I am bogged down at the moment.
trying to plan a fled watch here but not as easy as in Winnipeg.

I was at the site tonihgt and 2 very wet parents drying out. Dad was over at the college Plaza, keeping dry but could see the kids.
Mom was on south side of nest building trying to keep warm.
It is damn cold here and soggy.

A bit later one was flying in front of nest building as Stars helicopter came in . This could prove a challenge for the kids this year.
the Heli pad used to be way behind the nest building , now it is on the new heart building where the kids played last year :o :o
It is not the helicopter so mush as the blades.

Meal time again.  Parent doesn't look quite as bedraggled and wet as earlier.

It does look like it is still raining outside the nestbox, though.

Guess the rain is doing the humidity thing with the camera again.

Chicks all fluffy and snug.  They have grown again!
