Fledglings disappear all the time, it doesn't mean they are in trouble.  Remember there was a chick on one of the US sites that was MIA for 8 days and then just reappeared one day at the nestsite with all her/his siblings.  And Hurricane, she fledged and I saw her for the next two/three days and not a feather until this spring.  Same with Radisson, saw her the day after fledging and then "poof" until she turned up in Edmonton.

Something may have happened but I would expect you to find the chick close to the nestsite since the chicks have only started fledging.  Just as likely the chick is just further away and hanging out - remember Vesper didn't move for two days after we re-released her.

My advice, take a breath and don't anticipate bad news, it may come, it may not come or you may not get any news at all (which we count as good news btw).

Thanks Peter.  Guess that means no Mr White  :'( :'(   I did see mom come and visit Froona but was called away from my desk at that moment so didn't see if she had food for her or not.  I'm at home now and it's the weekend so I will stay up late to await news.

Last report from Bev is that Mr. Red flew over to the Mazankowski building and Mr. Yellow flew over to CSB.  Seem to be flying around not quite consistently for short trips.  Miss Black was visited by parent and may have been fed.  Not quite sure.  I am heading out to the site now.  Will update again later.

BL..if you switch between cam views in the same window..you will see a cached image - the last one you saw on that view before you left it  When it refreshes then it replaces that last image with a new one.  I frequently have to open new windows when I'm trying to rush and see if something happened..cause I'm impatient..lol

Well, I have learned two new things today.  I just love to learn.   ;D  Thanks Carly, I am impatient too and will keep that in mind.  It is the first time I have watched it at work  :-[  (on my own today) so wasn't sure what was going on cuz my program was messin' with my head too.  ARRGH

7:24 AM  Bev found both birds.    Both doing fine.  Bev a little frazzled.

Bev you are terrific in your efforts to keep these guys in sight and safe.  Thank you for your long report of last night.  It's been great to keep up to date thanks to you, Mr Bev, Eli on the ground, and Carly on the cam.
I remember TPC mentioning about the parent flying below in case a boost is needed.  That must have been great to see!
