U of Alberta - 2009 / Damon & Radisson
Saoirse:
The only cam site for U of Alberta I know about is http://www.falconcam.med.ualberta.ca -- is that the one you're meaning, Carly? Can't see anything much other than the nest box.
carly:

THERE HAS BEEN FIGHTING GOING ON BETWEEN ADULTS ..AND THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON.
allikat:
WOW!!!! What drama!
It would be nice to know who that "intruder" is/was? I know that Mr. White hasn't been spotted in awhile, but it could be him. But since he didn't stick around and Radisson rounded up the kids, then probably not. However, as Carly wrote, there is another site. I don't know the proximity between both sites, however is it a possibility that a juvie flew just a little too far? Was it a juvie from last year? Was it a merlin?
But aren't the questions wonderful....look what we are all asking. Pretty 8)
carly:
You know something just occured to me as I was typing that story about Miles and Surge forgetting him after 1 week. How does that happen and then a juvie comes back a year later and the parent remembers them like the few in Europe that have done so? Do European falcons have better memories?? Maybe Euro falcons can read and they recognize the band numbers? :P
BirdLover:
Yup, they are all pretty fast. That's for sure. The merlin would be the right colour too.
