Just had to see that in print again, Dodobird, because you've said it so well!
Last year when I left for holidays it was before fledging and just as Hope came to the nest site. I think I will find it easier to relax this year knowing the kids are all doing well!

Good afternooon from the Gene Autry room at the Bluebird Motel in Claresholm, Alberta. Carol and I are glad to hear everything is ok with our falcon family. Thanks Bev and Peter for introducing us to the processes involved in fledgewatch. thanks so much for the updates. this has certainly been an exciting site. the summer has been one big novel with many different chapters.
and i'm really really glad the birds are younger than ours. it gave us in some birdies to follow after ours left the nest
