Elaine L:
This is just so tragic - every moment that the ravens stay there, they are at risk from attack from the falcons.  And our falcons are, by now, well-rested, well-fed, and probably ready to take over the nest, while the ravens are stressed, hungry, and tired.

ballywing:
But the falcons are not going to see it that way - and no matter who has earned the right to stay in our logical minds - if G&W keep sticking around, they're all in danger.  :-[

bccs:
It seems to me that, after the many removals, the ravens have earned the right to be there. We are all personalizing this senario and, to bring it to our level, if the ravens were human, we'd be calling the authorities to oust the interlopers ( falcons ).
Who got there first, who stayed and rebuilt many times, and who is still there in spite of the removal of their potential young?
I love the falcons but they have second claim to this nest site this year.

Liz:
NO WAY!!!  Another egg?!  Even I'm feeling sorry about this now.  This may be stupid, but do we know for a fact the eggs weren't moved somewhere else, rather than destroyed?

ballywing:
Oh no, there IS an egg in there!..........Geez!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-\
