0905 hrs (Winnipeg) - box is empty - and very clean to my eye.  Nestbox cam is either out of focus or there is condensation on the lens, looks a bit blurry to my eye.  Other cams are empty of birds, people, whatever ...

the biologists stayed after I left yesterday and saw a few more copulations and several nest box displays and then Radisson went  out north east to a tower. they figure to ward off someone passing by.

Isn't Radisson one of Treys' kids? If so, she must have inherited some smarts from the old man.

She is one of Trey's and Princess', not sure which trait except the ability to escort interlopers out of her territory ... certainly not the housekeeping gene ... I can't imagine that nestbox with more than one chick AND all the "left-overs" like last year ....  ::)

Bev, you see the Peregrines up close and personal...well as up close and personal as one can get.  I think you must have a gut feeling what to name Raddison's mate.  I look forward to hearing what his name will be. And by the way thanks for all the work you do, all the pictures and all the reports on the Edmonton pair.  For some reason the cameras there do not work on my computer. They do not refresh.  Your reports and photos keep me informed, so many thanks to you and your husband.

Those names are quite a mouthful aren't they ;D ;D ;D I can't tell you what my mind was saying with some  them. ;) ;)

talk about being paranoid ,Carly. Every time RAdisson makes a quick move I   cringe ::) ::)

And please don't make me think what you were saying. My imagination works overtime and wouldn't want to put naughty thoughts in my head - they may come out my mouth. :o ;D ;D  lol

I think I was thinking the same thing. A few of them raised my eyebrow!

Hi Bev, here are some foreign words that might strike your fancy:
STURDY:
Dutch-Stevig
French-Vigoureux
German-Stark
Italian-Robusto
Portuguese-Resistente
Spanish-Robusto

PROVIDER:
Dutch-Leverancier
French-Fournisseur
German-Versorger
Italian-Fornitore
Portugese-Fornecedor
Spanish-Abastecedor

Just food for thought.

I actually am taking that into account.  I am looking for something that might mean good provider or sturdy.
I am just making sure everything works out here first. :) :)
