I can't stand the fact that we can hear them, but can't see them....

I can only imagine what these parents are going through...how much food to hunt and not enough time too hunt it....
Hmmmm.....don't hear anything, guessing all are fed!

Well that was before - a different screaming session. - This time there IS food in there, looks like Dad (?) brought it in - picked at it for a minute, then Lightning blazes into the box and grabs it!!!   - takes off into the corner and has been screaming at whoever that is - ever since to get the heck out of there - which it looks like he did - but she's still shrieking. OH - then he comes back & tries to take dinner away from her again, Sheesh such a fuss!

Mom first had the food, she brought it in then the youngin came into the nestbox and took the food away from Mom. Just now they had a tug of war. She's back again, tug of war again, Mom won that one.

Thanks ballywing I wondered what had happened as I saw no food ,boy she is crabby!!!!!

Somebody (One of her brothers) just came to the nest for a visit and got royally yelled at by Lightning - sheesh she can be a grump. She wouldn't let him in & he had to fly off into the hurricane!

checking in again after 2 1/2 hours.  Wow, someone is in the box.   You guys have not figured out who it is?  He/she is laying down with head on ledge,, that was /is Lightning's  favorite position.  Does look a bit small to be her however.  But the fish eye lens makes it hard to tell when they are way over to that side of the box.  She is laying right where all the bird poo is on the camera lens so I can't say who,  just that it is one of the kids.  Still very windy.  Glad one of them decided to get out of the wild weather.  Not a good day for practice flights I would not think!

That's probably this one is staying in the box lol doesn't even want to venture out into that wind

It's a howling.  I wouldn't be wanting to fly around in that!

I would say it's one of the boys by the size and man is it ever windy out there.

I just switched cam on; is that Lightning eating in the corner?

About 3:35 Winnipeg time a parent brought food and wow did she appear fast in the nest box.  She squawked like crazy for a while with her food in the corner.  Doesn't look like she is eating it.  She is just watching it in the corner.  Every so often she screeches tho.  I guess she is hanging out on the roof.  She has sure mastered getting back into the nest box with no problem and she does it quickly.  Looks like she is eating now.  There is movement in the corner.

Looks so empty...I'm still wondering why they haven't changed the cam view...must be something technical on their end.  They've been so on top of everything else, I can't imagine that it is an oversight...Of course, with the holiday weekend, there maybe no one there to flip that switch, so to speak...

It sure is windy, I noticed that before, seems to have picked up.  You can hear the wind, and see all those feathers in the box really flapping.  All us quiet. All I can hear is the wind and that weird electrical sound.  Hope all is well.
