A quick glance on this site shows there are now 4 eggs. 4 is normally the tally for this nest.  :)

I thought I would check to see if there is a 2nd egg and Barb was very obviously about to add another egg. My patience paid off. Egg #2 at 7:15 A.M. CDT! ;D

::) I haven't checked this site in recent days, but I am happy to report that Barb laid her 1st egg most likely March 15/16 in the overnight.  Barb tends to lay 4 eggs every season a few days apart from each other.  ;D

This morning, some courting and bowing between Boh and Barb. Also observed, Barb creating a scrape or 2.  Anticipation builds for some eggs soon. I love this site. A clear view of the nest, ledge and Baltimore in the background.  :)

Updated link

https://www.explore.org/livecams/falcons/peregrine-falcon-chesapeake-conservancy

Just so folks know - both links work.  One takes you the Chesapeake Conservancy page, the other to the Explore.org mirror of the webcam.  Its a win-win - same cam that you can watch in two places!  There is also additional information on both sites and you can leave comments on both as well.  Not sure if one works better on mobile or tablets but it is definitely worth checking to see which one suits your viewing preferences.

Thanks GCG!!

Only 2 eggs hatched and grew in leaps and bounds. As they grew, they wandered out of sight of the live cam. I just read on the site, they fledged on June 8th. Only Boh II and Barb are currently visiting the nest daily.

Another look and it seems there are 2 now and possibly a 3rd too. Is that possible TPC? Someone thinks it is due to delayed incubation.  ???
Barb is consuming the shells ravenously.

Looking at the interval between eggs - March 21, 23, 25, 28 - there is nothing particularly unremarkable about the intervals.  The last egg is a bit late but not so much.  "Hard" incubation starts after the 3rd egg is laid - sometimes right when egg 3 is laid, sometimes between egg 3 and egg 4.  Egg 4 might hatch a bit late, but maybe not.  Be interesting to see what happens :)

Eggciting news. Sometime early this morning, one of the eggs hatched. Barb has been shuggling lots in the past 2 days.

Egg #4 sometime last night or early this A.M. I must learn how to take a screen shot. I guess "copy and paste" just doesn't work.  ::) Now we watch "paint dry" for 30ish days.

Barb laid her 3rd egg yesterday afternoon. She typically lays 4 eggs in a season.

In the last hour, Barb laid egg #2. Reading comments it appears Boh arrived within minutes and the pair bowed to each other.
