Sure hope we have a cam! :) - Saw a light coloured birdie on the west nest yesterday - it was so nice to know somebirdie is there.  :-*

Yeay!!! - You know I look up at that nest every day as I get off the bus for work.
Even in January..... even when it's -40 outside....lol...it's just a habit~!!  ;D
Glad to hear they're back - whoever they are.

Welcome back Pip!

Not Pip - his coloured leg band is on the "left" leg.  I think this is Hart from the Logan territory - he likes to hang out at the Radisson box in the spring when he's the first (often the only) bird back.  He eventually gets pushed out by the resident male at the Radisson.  If Pip doesn't return and Fiona does, Hart and Fiona could end up together though. 

Pip isn't an old bird and neither is Fiona so unless they/one or the other has run afoul of something on migration, we will hopefully see them again.  They were a good pair together.  Would be nice to see them in the nestbox this year.
