Falcon family as of the afternoon of 6-18
Following an afternoon thunderstorm one of the falcons was found at ground level. While we returned him to the roof with his siblings we took the opportunity to shoot some video and a few photos.

The Peregrine Chick:
Here's the notice from our friends in Topeka ...

We plan to band our four young falcon chicks on Monday, May 27 at 8:00 a.m.  So far, It's been an exciting year with potentially four chicks fledging. If you haven't had a chance to view the nest box recently, it's been very busy.  We ask that viewers keep in mind these are wild creatures. Statistically, more than 50 percent of falcon young do not make it past the first year. We'll plan to have photos from the event available later in the day, Monday.
