Looking good!! - As long as we don't get any continuous downpours or huge winds, they should be ok.   ;D

I have very little time to follow this post regularly.

Therefore, I am so thankful to all for updating all the info and our precious birds.

Love it.

The chicks have been just fine today - no getting blown around in the wind or anything.  They have been sitting up and napping and being fed.

The storms aren't guaranteed to drop a lot of rain, if we are lucky, more noise than anything else.  First storm set is supposed to have the most rain and it will pass by 10pm and then there is another chance of rain after 1am but with much lower volumes.

Looks like Fiona understands what she is supposed to do, so I think she will move the chicks where she has too.  Also the chicks are 7 days old now - not out of the woods but much closer to being able to thermoregulate than not being able to, hopefully that will help.

So while they aren't out of danger, keep your fingers crossed that the storms overnight hold off dropping their rain until they have passed over the City and that tomorrow, the rain is periods of light rain with periods of no rain and (knock on wood) everyone will be okay.

My mind reels over the thought of this ledge again flooded by the downpour of rain.  :'( :'( :'(

I remember seeing chicks get blown head over heels on that ledge - was surprised they didn't go right over the side.  :-X - scary stuff!  :o

I agree the ledge this wknd will be a constant concern on our minds.  Really dreading this.  As long as the rains don’t flood the ledge I’m hoping these parents stay close and shelter the chicks.
