Do you think this might be Princess, ballywing? Are the lightish feathers on the back of her head her "crown"?

 

 

I think so? - At the right angle you can see a semi-circle area of lighter feathers. - Plus I think Pip has darker black feathers? - TPC would be able to tell in a second. 

Thank you, ballywing! I think you are right. I did see the lighter feathers on the head. I have seen so little of either bird this year that it makes it hard to be sure.

I'd think with the rain that's teeming down now, the drain wouldn't be able to handle it - sure HOPE there are no eggs on that dang ledge!!!

Very heavy rain again. Our street is flooded. I'm curious to know if the East ledge is flooded as it often is in these heavy rains. TPC?

I won't be able to stay around here much today, but I'm happy to see there were lots of comings and goings.

They were also inside the box - together - several times today!

I'd love to actually see what they're up to in there.

One of our residents, Pip I think, has been sitting on the West ledge for at least 1 hour. Has not moved from this spot once. I still have my talons crossed there will be eggs/chicks.

One bird at the nest this evening. First time this year I have seen a live bird at the nest, so I'm not sure who this is.

I am up fairly early, so this is from early this morning. Princess arrived first and then Pip then they both went into the nest box. They were in there for a bit and he left. She came out and perched for a while and then left.
