Radisson - 2018 / Pip & Princess

Princess is there now, preening.  - Wish we could switch back & forth to the 'inside' view to check for eggs!

I have seen Princess numerous times today. In fact, she is there now. I think I saw Pip only once today. Puzzling!

Early Friday evening, one of them was sitting on a letter of 'Radisson' and started screeching at some smaller birds flying by, then took flight and chased them away - they scattered pretty quick!!

Have they laid any eggs as of yet or is it to late in the season for them to start laying eggs?

One sitting on the edge of the nest box. I wonder what they are thinking. hardly any movement of cars... maybe enjoying the calmness

TPC, can we still hope for eggs and chicks?

A week ago I'd have said the chances were slim but there has been a significant upswing in activity in the nestbox by Pip and Princess over the last few days and almost no visits on the east side by Pip and nothing from Princess.  Could be the start of something wonderful, will just have to wait and see.  We only see a small fraction of their lives, could be that Princess had a set-to with Faith or Spencer both of whom where causing chaos at about the time when we expected to see eggs at Logan and Radisson.  Unless Princess decides to text me about it, no way to know I'm afraid.

Wow, you're up in the middle of the night GCG!  ; 

Very light sleeper. Sometimes when I roll over, I wake and cannot get back to sleep.

TPC, can we still hope for eggs and chicks?

Wow, you're up in the middle of the night GCG!  - I don't know - Did they just 'Decide' not to have kiddies this year, or does it just randomly not 'Happen'? - It'll be a nice relaxing season for them if they don't - but kind of boring for us 'watchers'.

Thought I would check in to see if anybirdie is sitting pretty. Yes! Thinking it may be Princess sitting there in the breeze. I'm wondering if the Jets whiteout parties threw them off their "game?"

Wow!! - It's so great they're here and our Princess is back and all is well .....sure would be nice to have an egg or 2 show up, not sure if it's getting too late for that.  -

I see there have been meetings going on between Pip and Princess again today! One meeting happened about 3:25 pm. Princess was sitting on the box edge when Pip arrived - then they met inside the box!   Pip left first, then Princess came out and nibbled on stones.

And at 5:18 pm Pip brought prey for Princess!
