I have actually heard peregrine like screeching in Fort Garry a couple times in the past week, but wasn't able to spot the bird. I did identify a Coopers hawk though perched for some time in a tree in Wildwood.

I'm starting to think that wherever the rest of the birdies are waiting for warmer weather, is where they'll end up staying - as this STUPID weather is not leaving us!!!  :-\

No Princess or Smiley yet.  :-[ - Smart of them to stay away from the cold - but still hope to see at least Princess swoop in like last year and claim her castle!!  :-* ;D

Tomorrow is going to be a repeat of today's temps. This Old bird hopes they don't start their canoodling down south.  :-\

If I had a choice, I think I would also wait for warmer weather. ;)

Either they've all turned tail (wing) and gone back down south or they're frozen solid somewhere in Winnipeg! - Brrrrrr!!!  :o :-\

gord drove almost to Alberta border the other day and he said no sightings and  no ducks yet. lots of snow.
it is better cold so maybe some are delayed by USA weather also
