Yes I think he is a newbie Dad - He's done a pretty good job!!

I don't know the whereabouts of Pip before he became resident male at the Radisson, but considering he's a 2014 Logan hatch (Joli and Hart are his parents), he's still quite young and may possibly be a first time dad!

I think it was Pip who made an appearance at the nestbox about 7pm yesterday evening. However, he was likely very busy with his growing family and couldn't spare more than a minute of time!

I wasn't able to find a list of band colours for our 2017 Radisson chicks (maybe I missed it ).

Perhaps adding their band colours to the "News" could help as a temporary (but quick) reference.

I didn't mention this earlier, but I'm certain that our nestbox visitor jumped up from the ledge on at least one of the visits. However, we're still unable to watch Porter or anybirdie when they decide to enjoy some time on the ledge.

Glad to hear they (or some of them) are still in the area!! 

I enjoy seeing the juveniles, though I'm hoping that someone will spot a parent.

It was nice to see somebirdie land on the front edge of the nestbox, although the visit was cut short (at least 20 minutes ago).

GCG, I totally agree with your comment regarding Porter returning to his roots. He appears to be a loner, and he's possibly finding some comfort at home. 

I'm wondering if Purdie and Pippy are still enjoying time together.

When I check the cam........nothing.  Thanks Burdi for your updates. And thanks RCF for your photos. I'm thinking because Porter has had some mishaps, he, more than the girls, will occasionally return to his roots. "Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home!"
