I haven't been able to watch all day and now, checking in I swear that they've doubled in size since yesterday - at least, the one wobbly that was awake... :o

I know that somewhere on here you have posted Princess' age, but I think it would be easier if I just asked the question. LOL
How old is Princess and how many years has she come back to the Radisson Hotel?

Princess hatched in 2002 in Minneapolis - she nested for the first time here at the Radisson in 2004 with Trey.  So she is 15 years old and this is her 14th year nesting here.  Bonus factoid - she's had 4 mates = Trey, Ivy, Smiley & now Pip.

Thanks TPC

So, one of the kids is showing signs of wanting to motor out of the shadow of his mom (Is that Princess - I can't tell) and is probably just trying to get cooler.  Chick has settled again, but looked ready to take off.  Princess had Superchicks last year...wouldn't be surprised if these turned out to be the same :-*

I wonder if the last egg will be discarded. - TPC, when would it be safe to say it's a 'Dud' ?  ???

It is a week since first hatch (May 30th) and 3 days since last hatch and Princess has been letting Pip come in and hang with the kids for longer periods of time, so I'm inclined to think the last egg won't hatch - Princess had only 3 last year too - not bad for a Grand Dame of her age.

Nice to see Princess able to have some time away from the nestbox in the mornings as she'll be on Mum-brella duty this afternoon no doubt!

Dennis, Eye-Spy and I were off working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly - means didn't get to spend time checking the cams.
All the chicks are fine, weather was great - sunny, warm, enough clouds to keep from being too hot - great for the chicks and the adults alike.  It was basically a day of eating and sleeping!  And the chicks are rockstars at both!
