McKenzie Seeds - 2016 / Sol & Hurricane

We had very strong winds here yesterday and I think it blew the front board off the camera window.  Hurricane and Sol are fine and were both perched on the building.

Thankfully Hurricane and Sol weren't injured in that wind the other day. I’m wondering how the chicks are doing.

Yup going to have make sure that window gets fixed - the thought of pigeons inside (again) is too traumatic to think about (again)

Looks like we might just have two in Brandon this year ... it has been two days since the chicks hatched and it looks like the two remaining eggs are intact.  We will check again early next week (if possible) just to be sure.



Camera was zoomed in, window was a bit dirty and it was very shady in the nestbox!

I caught a feed around 3 pm today.

 
                             
 Hurricane taking away the prey, looks to be a shore bird of some kind.

                       

                              Here's Sol, I didn't see him sneak in when she went for a 5 minute break.

Sol seems to be a good mate, he sure is fast getting in the box when Hurricane leaves.
