I've just about decided its not a thunderstorm...I think the mic is picking up wind, etc.....cuz it doesn't matter what day I tune in, I hear the same sounds...and rarely see rain...but just a theory...

Thanks for the cam SGB!!! - Great to have babies to watch again! ;DRight now they're having a snack & there's thunder in the background. I don't hear any squealing or chirping though - only noise is from the weather!

Sounds like there is a storm there right now.
A parent has the chicks covered and is looking around with a worried look.

The two eggs hatched either the 16th or 17th...new babies!!! (not sure about the 3rd egg yet)
The Hobby: Falco subbuteo~About the size of a kestrel with long pointed wings, reminiscent of a giant swift. It has a dashing flight and will chase large insects and small birds like swallows and martins. Prey is often caught in its talons and transferred to its beak in flight. Can accelerate rapidly in flight and is capable of high-speed aerial manoeuvres. (Info courtesy of the main webpage)
(ps...hope this was the best place to put this cam...
