So nice that at least two goslings made it to the pond.

What a lovely family.

How wonderful to watch the highlights of the season! Amazing to watch the 2 goslings jump off those hay bales from such a height. And lovely to see the goslings following their parents to the pond. :D

Here is the link to the video by the Edmonton Journal's photographer, Bruce Edwards, a review of the year for Patience and the gander.  Only two chicks hatched, but that is still better than earlier this year when she lost all her eggs.  As Allikat says, the goslings are just so cute, running to keep up with their parents after jumping off the hay bale.

The video is now available to watch!  Patience and her mate had two goslings, and of course, they are absolutely adorable!
Good luck to the new Goose family!

The goslings began hatching here on Friday. Not sure how many there were but Patience has now left her nest with her brood. The webcam is no longer live but a video of big event will be posted on the website sometime in the next few days. :)

I think that it was May 23, Kinderchick.  At least, that is when Patience reported her new batch of eggs on her Twitter account.  Of course, that is when the Edmonton Journal guy noticed the eggs, so she could have been sitting on them for a few days already.  Anyway, I think that the chicks should arrive about June 21.

Thanks, Elaine. :-* I did see the date when the Edmonton Journal journalist reported that Patience had laid new eggs. But like you, I'm assuming she laid them before that date. So I will keep a closer eye on her around June 20th because as soon as they all hatch they'll be gone.

The connection I have been using is:

It takes a few seconds to load, at least on my computer.

Does anyone know when "Patience's" goslings are due to hatch? :-\ I'm not sure when she laid her eggs for the 2nd time.

Mother Goose Patience has laid another clutch of eggs on another hay bale, one that is more secure, so I hope everything will work out for her this time...
I am so glad to hear this, Elaine. Thanks for the heads up. :-* I hope she is successful this time.

This is a favourite good news story.

It can even be followed on Twitter, Ms. Goose@JournalGooseCam
