Checked in on Salt City, Utah and now there are two. Couldn't tell on third one.

Yes in response to my own question. She just got off the nest and clearly 2 eggs and one hatchling. Guess I will tune in tomorrow. Night Night Time.

Was just on there. She got up and preened, beaked with baby and then back down again. Still two eggs.

Checked into site. Had to get my 2 hrs of sunshine while it was available. Is there another egg or still just 1. Parent sitting and not showing anything?

Reply to self. Just witnessed a feeding. Was so weird, parent left other came in and was like in total amazement. What is this! Was very guarded and unsure and then tried to scoop underneath. At that point other parent came in with food and it was done.

More questions, when do they feed the new one. Maybe I missed the first feeding but having been watching for awhile and haven't seen food. I'm sure they don't need much as they are so tiny but was just wondering.

Postscript to earlier message. That parent rotates so much in that scrape it's a wonder the eggs are still intact. The hatchling will be lucky if it has feathers before the rest of the eggs are hatched.

Wow, 25, Winterpeg hasn't seen that yet. Supposed to happen next week, don't know how I'll handle that. Is it still one hatchling, before I got on here saw parent eating something thought it might have been egg shell. Is there another one. Going back on site.

plus, it's 25C in Salt Lake City right now - so probably not too big a deal for the parents to be off the eggs here and there.

still trying to get my personal weather station talking to the weather site...  then you can all know what's happening at my house whenever you like. ;)
