Of course, it happened just when I went to take my shower.  I had been watching since 5 AM and then come back to see a little one.  Three more to go.

 8) It appears that Princess is having egg(shell) for breakfast.

A chick is coming out of an egg.  I could see a wing and the head.  It looked like is was still in the shell.  I only got a brief look and it was wet looking.

Rechecked the video right up until the screen went dark and I didn't see anything that looked like hatching or Princess pulling away an eggshell or anything like that ... sorry, we'll just have to wait until tomorrow morning.  I'm sure whoever is "on" pre-dawn will post if they see anything!  ;) ;D

1603h - shift change, Smiley off, Princess on.  Smiley didn't leave until she arrived and she usually doesn't like to hang out in the nestbox in the heat of the afternoon unless she has young chicks or soon will have chicks.

For those wondering about size when they aren't incubating ....

May 4 (not long after incubation began)                            June 3 (this morning)

Princess is in the top corner, Smiley on the bottom corner.  (Photo on the left is slightly more zoomed in than the one of the right)
You can see there is a difference in body size but not as much as with Ivy.  If you look closer, you can see that Princess has more mass than Smiley and her wings/tail are a bit longer.
