The Recent News on the website is saying the banding event is scheduled for Tuesday May 21st at 1 PM.

Lots of activity in the nest here lately.  Chicks have been very vocal, and one even left the scrape for a few minutes this morning.  You can see the darker feathers starting to come in, does anyone know when the chicks will be banded?

Tuned in just in time to see Dad feeding four adorable fluffy wobblies

After the feeding, one chick was on his/her back and couldn't seem to be able to get up.  I've seen that before with greedy chicks with over-full chicks crops, but this one seemed smaller as well - might've just been the camera angle.  Lil Dad attempted to cuddle with his kids for awhile, but Niecey would have none of that...

I've been watching for a while, and she won't move but I do see the eggshell so I guess we'll just have to wait until she is good and ready to show her baby.

There's been a hatch!  Not sure if this is the first one.  The way Niecey was sitting with her wing out earlier, looked as though there might be a chick although there was no egg shell in the nest and no sign of a fluffie.  There's definitely egg shell now

There are now 4 eggs in the nest. Cute to watch Lil Dad try to cover them.
