So these chicks have been moved to the rooftop nestbox?

Yes, they have been moved to the lower roof floor nest box because they will be getting satelite tranmitters in the very near future.

The female just came back, walked up the ramp and lay down beside her brother with the greentape, so all three are napping in the box.  :)

Two chicks in the box, not sure where chick 3 is ... chicks in the box are I think female and small male ... large male is out and about still I think ...

I think the female is still out on the roof and it's the two boys in the box.  I don't think the large male has been out of the box yet.

Entirely possible, that's the downside with having to zoom the cams out  ::) :D

Tracey, is it possible for you to post a link to the name the chicks contest?  I looked at the CBC website, the camera comments still need to be cleaned up, and haven't been able to find where the name(s) suggestions are hiding.

I don't think it has been posted on the CBC cam page yet.

RCF is correct, contest isn't up and running yet.  We don't give CBC the names until after the banding because we need to know the gender of the birds so we have enough choices.  I will post here as soon as the contest is up and running ...

Mom brought food and the female couldn't figure out how to get back in the box....she was on the ramp at one point.  She didn't get any, so she is probably not happy!  ::)

The female left shortly after her brother and has been wandering out of view.  The other one seems content to stay in the box, I am sure as soon as mom or dad bring food that will change.

The male with the green tape has left the building (box)......probably to go play in the rain. He walked half way down the ramp and jumped the rest of the way.  :)

Sorry folks, had a we bump so I'm not moving quite so fast today.  Have tweaked the cam to show more of the box & ramp.  I try to keep the cam aimed where we can see the most chicks or where we can see the chicks most or most frequently.

And yes, priority is to get the banding recording converted and posted as fast as possible.
