Princess and Ivy are parked on the Radisson sign above the nestledge - chicks are sprawled out asleep below them.
The Peregrine Chick:
Kids are awake and up now. The wind is definitely get up but still looks like it is mostly from behind the Hotel so the ledge is still protected. Breeze is helping to cool it down a bit, particularly in the shade and the ledge at this time of the day is in the shade so the kids should have a pleasant time here now. It's 24.6C at the U of W weather station right now and the winds are SW 30-35km/h with gusts (so far) up to 53.1km/h.

Too right Feather! - it's a rollercoaster of emotions, from excitement & happiness to worry & anxiety :-X - it'll be a while before we stop fretting about them I guess, but for now they look to be doing great and these chicks have the best parents in town, it's wonderful to watch this family go about their daily business!! :-*
The Peregrine Chick:
There is still only one chick under Princess at the moment, the other chick is just out of camera range (below on your screens) s/he is parked on the concrete in the shade from the low wall around the edge of the ledge. As the sun comes up and over the chicks will likely go back to Princess, but at the moment s/he is sprawled out on his/her belly totally in the shade. Our first wanderer of the year ...
