Mom adjusted herself a few minutes ago... I'm pretty sure I saw a large dent in one of the shells! I predict it will be tonight!  :)

So do we have a hatch yet here? I can't tell. :-\

Nope, not yet.  I am sure we will have to wait until tomorrow.  :)

Oooo... just saw Hurricane stand up and it looks very close. 2nd egg from the right is full of pips and cracks, I think. 8)

When Hurricane shuggles the eggs like that and so often,  does that actually help the egg with the pip to break open and give the chick a wee bit of help?

One egg has a big pip in it and you can hear the chick inside peeping.   :)

Tweaked the camera angle/zoom to maybe help out with "seeing" the hatches ...

Checked the count (again), eggs were laid April 27, 29 and May 1 and 6. Hard incubation didn't start right after Egg 3 despite Brooklyn's efforts.  So, while Eggs 1-3 are old enough to hatch based on lay dates and usual start of incubation, Egg 4 is not.  But since hard incubation didn't really appear to start until the 4th at the earliest, I'm inclined to say that I don't think anything will hatch today.  Could be that Egg 4 is not viable or that Chick-from-Egg-4 will be delayed, but I think the kids may need another day or two of baking before they are ready.

Having said that, if Egg 4 isn't viable and because Hurricane and Brooklyn have been velcroed to those eggs (seems to be "their way"), I may happily be proved wrong - we have had eggs hatch out at 28-30 days but not by any of the current pairs or their parents.

She is just so busy "shuggling" those eggs the wee ones are going to be dizzy!
