3 chicks lined up in a row is a perfect picture.

They will be busy now feeding the four little ones.  Wish I could see at work.  I can't even see the photos until I get home.  Just a white box where they are supposed to be.

I think there has only been the three hatches so far.  Hurricane hasn't been very accomodating in the last little while.  At 5:30pm there were three chicks and one egg as far as I could tell.

I thought there were 4 because TPC said she thought the 4th had hatched.  I can't see anything at work except what is written.

Thanks RCF for all the posts, videos and pictures.  I got to see them all when I got home from work.

Thank you for the video RCF. The Brandon cam keeps freezing up for me after about a second so it's great to see the chicks from your videos and photos :D

RCF:
This was the 530pm feed today.  It is a long video but the kids looked like they had lots to eat.  If you go to where the description of the video is you can click on where it says 6:10 and it will take you to that point in the video where one chick falls over.........probably from overeating  .  ;D

The Peregrine Chick:
First meal was at 1000h this morning and it wasn't a particularly complete one.  One chick hatched at least 8 hours earlier and no doubt that was the one doing the most begging - the second and third chicks are only a couple of hours only so that may have prompted the timing for this meal.  I'm hoping that these two increase the frequency and amounts though, particularly in the first few days.  Fortunately the weather looks warm (hot tomorrow) and dry until the weekend so Hurricane and Brooklyn shouldn't have any impediments to feeding the kids frequently.

Here's a difference between Princess & Ivy, Princess & Trey and Jules & Beau.  When Brooklyn arrived with food this morning (twice before 1000h), Hurricane has taken the food and left the box to eat leaving Brooklyn to take over with the chicks.  Much like they share incubation, it looks like while Hurricane is doing most of the incubating on Day 1 (and probably for at least a couple more days), Brooklyn is getting much more access to his very young offspring than any of our other males.

The differences between birds and pairs is always a fascinating learning experience!
