There's a new camera going up on the east side of the Radisson?

Yup, the only camera we have on the east side is the spy cam and it is 17 storeys above the nest and though the zoom is great, it isn't good enough to be able to watch the birds!

Just so folks know re videos

McKenzie Seeds - I have to download them at night otherwise it takes 4-5x as long to download.  I also tend to find clips and download in groups so I should have more up this weekend.  When it gets busier (ie there are chicks) if there are interesting clips I will post them more frequently.

Radisson - we won't have video to download until we get the new camera installed on the east side of the building

Just goes to show how many folks read a short piece on the CBC website! 

The peregrine falcon recovery project needs all the exposure it can get!! IMHO  The more who know about it the better it is for these peregrines who are making a come-back in their old territories.  I think it is great.

RCF pointed out that we had a really large number of hits on one of our videos - its the one that was included with the CBC story on March 12th. 

May 12th - 2,730 viewings
May 13th - 3,569 viewings
May 14th - 1,769 viewings
May 15th - 2,730 viewings
May 16th -   879 viewings (so far today)

Yup, CBC National news story on Saturday has the third hatch video embedded in it.  We most certainly don't get those kinds of numbers on videos on our galleries.

seriously?   

Maybe they used that video rather than the first meal video on the CBC news report on Saturday - that would account for those kinds of numbers so fast!

New Radisson videos have been added to the Project's YouTube gallery including first and last meals on Day One and the hatches of our third and fourth Radisson chicks.

So why would I have noticed that there had been changes to our YouTube Channel unless I was doing something on our YouTube Channel   


First Brandon videos are up - Hurricane and Brooklyn giving the upgrades to their condo a very close examination the day after we visited them.  Looks like they approve - good thing since we did the work on the box on Friday the 13th!!

Looks like YouTube has removed some of its ads from people's channels, or rather have given folks the options to ask for adds not to be displayed on most pages - yipppeee!  Looks much better without, but that's just my opinion.
