Quote from: The Peregrine Chick on August 02, 2012, 14:39McDermot has already been travelling out of the City according to his transmitter, so likely too are all his sibs. They fledged at the end of June and usually offspring hang out for 6-8 weeks after fledging before heading out on their own. We occasionally see a chick or two later in the fall before migration but most leave the City and that's the last we see of them for the year. For me, too soon.

Is it really August already?? I hope our family(s) stick around for a bit longer.

Quote from: Jazzerkins on July 16, 2012, 18:42You know, bccs, if that had been me, when Ivy landed, I would have been too shocked to even think about a camera. I would have just stared at him as long as he was there, thinking, "wow, he came to visit me!". Hope he comes back to see you for another visit. I think I would have responded the same way as Jazzerkins.Reading further down in the post it looks like bccs did get another visit from a Peregrine. So cool and so lucky bccs. Looking forward to the photos.
