Eggs hatching...blue egg shells everywhere!!!...
Interesting, how the eggshells look blue, almost like robin's eggs. Also Radisson's beak looks blue. ::)

Eggs hatching...blue egg shells everywhere!!!   The cam is acting up, goes black and comes back on and Radisson is an interesting shade of blue and so are the shells!

But definitely one hatch, possibly two now!!   :-* :-*

Hi, Bev, to reflect our male's steady nature, then, perhaps Constan, coming from the Latin for "steadfast".  I thought of Constantinople, but that might be a little over the top.

There was a movie by a similar name - Constantine ...

I guess i should look up some background meanings, on names suggested.. this guy is pretty steady.

I will do that in next couple of days.

So, Bev, what do you think about the names?  Or should we come up with some more to choose from?

Razor, Medard, Pierre... all sound like they would be good names. :)

Pierre Radisson's partner during his explorations of the Canadian West was Médard Des Groseilliers. How about "Médard" (pronounced "maydar")?

Well, regarding a name for our male, we have Radisson here, so how about Razor?  (This won't be hard to remember, anyway.)

Elaine, Cam 2 was not working and being so close to hatch,  I e-mailed  my contacts(the ECOS is not responsible anymore)and they  went to fix it.

they are hoping that in the fall we will get a whole new cam system. It was too late for this year. Keep fingers crossed.

I am keeping close watch here.

this male is as close to as good as his BRo. they just prove what good stock they came from.

Trying to think of a good name

Someone is up on the roof.  The falcon in the nestbox does not look pleased.

How about we see what his personality turns out to be ... much of the time, the bird name themselves

For example, Loki was not the most voted male chick name last year at the Radisson, but seeing him at fledge, there was no doubt who he was ... and Isis got a hyphenated name because cute and cuddly she was not ...  :-X

And I can just bet you probably have the scars to prove it!!!
