YAY!!!!  Everyone's back and there are eggs in the nest.  Life is great.  Bob and I have been driving by the University area from time to time lately and it's an automatic reaction to look up at the CSB and the cranes and antennas -- looking for tiny dots that might be falcons.  Of course, it's been a frustration that the UofA site hasn't been functioning until now.  I've been very much distracted with "stuff" as well, and consequently it never occurred to me to check here.

I'll be interested to see how this plays out over the next short while, getting the "who's who" all sorted out and seeing how many eggs we end up with.  (Am I wrong to hope for just a couple of chicks to watch this year? Peter is saying, no Carol, you're not wrong.)

So good to see you all again.  Happy Falconing, everyone!

Carol and I are just checking in. It's great to see that the falcons are back and they already have two eggs.  We're a bit late this year but we are here and ready to observe the festivities once again.

sorry for confusion. I am so tired lately.
It was a second egg laid.  :-[ :-[ I tried to go back and correct it but for some reason I cannot...
No worries, bev. It is understandable that you are very tired these days. And I should have been able to figure out what you meant, anyway. ::) 2 eggs is great! :D

no hatching yet .. eggs are just being laid
Hmm, I thought this was a bit confusing. I didn't think there were eggs yet, but thought I must have missed something. :-\

The hatch was this morning between 11:09 and 11:17am cam time...
Great news about the hatch this morning, bev. :D Too bad the camera lens is so dirty. :( Difficult to see.

Sorry, I am getting my birds mixed up, this is what happens when I have too many birds on the brain.  Now I am also thinking that there are not two eggs, it is just a very dirty camera.

No worries, I've been a bit distracted myself and suddently realized that I wasn't sure who was back though I have been hoping it would be our girl Radisson!

Looks to me like there are two eggs this morning.  Princess (assuming it is her) on the edge of the nestbox just now having a fine preen.

Radisson? or do we have another female in Edmonton?
