I think I was at the right place at the right time.   ;D   We saw Hurricane go into the nest box . A minute later Brooklyn showed up on the mts tower with a snack and there was a lot of yakking going on and feathers a flying.  He took his snack over to the roof and left it on the corner......maybe for later.  ;)   During all this, Hurricane was laying down or scraping and she would pop her head up occasionally.  Finally she perched on the nest box edge and started preening.  That's when she showed me her bling.  :-* :-*

Our miss was preening on the nest box when I took this shot. This is as good as it gets with my camera.  Is this 23/Y?  I may be a little biased.  ::) ::)

Yes, that's what I think, but there are a lot of windows with these types of holes.  So it wouldn't have been done in any one day, I think they have been doing this for years. :-\ 
   
When they are finished renovating McKenzie Towers and people are living in the building, I don't think there will be any more shooting at the pigeons on the window sills.  :)
