...Now Rose and RCF will be able to watch the birds in stereo - online and live!  ;D
This is so exciting and we will definitely continue to need ground observation posts from both of you, Rose & rcf and maybe even BirdLover. ;D

Good luck with trading out the camera and /or cameras. That side of the Mckenzie building is almost all solid brick wall with only 2 windows and a nest box on it and one of the windows is just below the level of the nest box so it must make the installation of any kind of camera difficult. From one of Dennis's photos taken from the spy box you can see that it is dark inside it when the sun has gone off the east side. Hope you get every thing up and working without disturbing Hurricane and Brooklyn too much ( Hurricane is not so easily disturbed but Mr. Brooklyn takes offence at the drop of a hat). :)

Eye-spy is going to trade out the cameras we have currently installed in Brandon because the contrast is so bright behind that we are having difficulty getting one of his amazing images (wait until you see the Radisson images - you'll know what I mean).

Won't trading out the installed camera's disturb the egg sitting falcons.........there is one installed on the nest box? :-\

Nope, the plan is for another camera so disturbance will be minimal.  What's not apparent from the ground is that there are skylights on the roof and when anyone walks beneath the skylights, the birds can see them - same for the two windows on the box wall.  The eggs won't come to any harm if the adults are off for a few minutes and we always try to over-prep in advance so we spend as little time as possible where the birds can see us and take offence at our actions.

Just as an update, the Radisson cam goes live on the 10th, the Brandon cam will go on a bit later so we can make sure we have everything running smoothly.  There has and continues to be a lot of work to get this cam up and operating but heading out to Brandon to do the work takes a bit more organization so while everything is just about in place, it is taking us longer to get it all squared away.  I think we should have a confirmed launch date for everyone in the next little bit.

Don't expect to hear anything for a few days as Hurricane and Brooklyn have only just started incubating.  But all looked great to Dan when he was there last, so no news is excellent news at this site for the time being.

 ??? ???

Don't our observations count?
Without you and Rose, we would have no personal observations, just second hand reports.
Keep up the great work RCF and Rose,we love what you post.
And a live cam, wow, I guess that's what those black cables that you mentioned a while ago were all about.   Who knew??

We still expect reports from you two ladies even if there is a cam. It's exciting to know what goes on outside the camera range as well.  8)

No worries LinderLou, We will still report on the goings on.  ;D ;D
Great to hear - love the local reports.
And to think there will also be live streaming from Brandon! That should help to build a bigger fan base there!
