We managed to figure out where the problem is with the Brandon cam.  Appears the modem is having problems talking to the internet connection.  It's thought that there may be something interfering with the signal or power rather than the equipment which appears from remote checks to be fine.

Its unlikely that we will be able to get it back up and operating again before the cam is scheduled to go "dark" on Monday, so downside is we don't get hope that Rain & Rosser will come by for a visit.  Upside is, first "real" problem we have had with this cam and its in the last few days of the seaons.  Could have been much worse!

No camera here either .............just RESTART!  So glad to hear the "boys" are out and about and enjoying themselves.  Hope everyone has recovered from the deluge yesterday ::)

Thanks for the sighting report, rcf. :-* I still am not able to get the Brandon webcam working. I guess the fledglings are not around on the roof anyway, though. They are off practicing their flying skills. :D

 I saw one one of the boys on Hurricane's east light on the clock tower and the other one was on the north side of the black ledge where they both could see each other.   :)  I didn't see any parents this morning.

No humidity problem out here, yet I've noticed a slower speed with this site.  Not so much others like CBC.

I've had difficulty with the Brandon webcam today also. Red restart button after commercial but no cam. My computer here at home has also been running a little slow the past few days, which is unusual. Hadn't thought it could be the humidity, but maybe? :-\

Unbelievable!  You provide us with so much good information, rcf - thanks!  I'd heard that there were torrential rains, but didn't realize the extent of the accumulated water! :P

After work I saw Brooklyn and Hurricane perched on the north side of the Scotia bldg out of the 40 or more km/h winds, no kids.  I went to parkade so I would be able to see on some rooftops and check out the mts tower, still didn't see any kids.  Just before I left I did see one kid flying from the mts tower (must of been hiding behind something) over to the Scotia bldg where he went down to the roof where I can't see. Great place to get out of the wind for the whole family.  :)
