Rose what is it with Brandon this year?(I know you can't answer it)  Rain and rain!!  I was hoping for a nice shower but only got spit.  Had to water the garden.  As far as Rosser and Rain I am sure they were well hidden. My cam has been quirky also. I have been  by-passing the cam on occasion in the hopes I won't suffer so much withdrawal later.

I heard there were storm chasers from the USA that have a lot of the rooms occupied in Russell, Mb. Supposedly there is potential for a tornado out that way.  Yikes!! I hope not!

We had torrential rain this morning about 0930hrs, no thunder or lightning. We had a bit over 2 inches in 1/2 hour,the streets were flooded all over town. I haven't been able to get the Brandon camera up since, there was a lot of wind at the same time so it's probably rain related?? I don't think it is my computer although it's slow like some of you are describing.

It has been pouring rain for the last hour here in NWOntario!  We need this to cool off the temps. and to provide much needed moisture for the forest fire situation.  Hope some cool air blows into Wpg and Brandon for everyone and the lil falcons too.

LinderLou, it's not just you -- although I've not had any problems with accessing either cam (at home), my computer at work and the one at home have both been slower than usual. I'm no computer tech, but I've been blaming the heat and humidity (mind you, I've been blaming that for everything!).

I too experienced the same problem. As well as heavy internet traffic, could be that the heat and humidity have an affect as well. My computer has really been running slow the last couple of days. Whether this has been the cause or my computer is malfunctioning, I'm not sure.

Have tried 10 + times to log on to the Brandon Cam. Is anyone else having the same problem? Patience runs thin after watching 30 second commercials for GMC only to get to the end and what do you get? A red restart icon. Another 30 second commercial for GMC. Is it me or is anyone having a similar problem? Is this the beginning of the cams being shut down. CBC, Shaw give us another week, please.

Nope this happens to me too.  The Radisson cam one too.  I notice it happens only when there is a lot of traffic over the internet making the internet speed very slow.  Apparently TPC said that the Brandon cam will be shut down likely on the 25th if I remember reading her post correctly.

Just looked in on the Brandon Cam and I see a bunch of pigeons sitting where a Peregrine was sitting this morning.  They are either very brave or very dumb.  Just looked again and they are gone.
