Back down on the ledge.  Came towards the cam a little but it is too dark to see the breast feathers anymore.  Will waite to see if Cade joins her.

Yay!  There's an early birdie back tonight!  Looks like they are having a good snooze, standing still as a statue.  Now if only they would turn just a teensy weensy bit to the right before it gets too dark!  But if Raptorgal saw dark it must be our girl Bea.  Now to wait and see if her either of her bro's come back to join her...20 mins or so and we should now.  

Hmmm.... still as a statue eh?  Must be because my cam view was frozen. DUH.    Thanks for the updates Raptorgal - I would have thought she was still not moving.  Double DUH!

Just jumped up to the nestbox.  Sitting on Cade's corner.

Chick's face was dark too.  Not a blonder face.  Definite defined markings.  But couldnt see the breast feathers.  Beatrix has heavy wide streaks on her breast.

Just tuned in - looks like whoever it is, is getting blown around a bit by that wind!

So you think you may have seen a green band, RG?

Yep, when chick turned around I clearly saw the dark band on the right leg.  Chick kind of stretched the leg a little and then settled into the position of facing the nest box.  The tail feathers are in the way to see the band now.  But when s/he moves we might see it.  Cade usually shows up 40 minutes from now.  This one showed up a few minutes before nine.

More than likely, it's Cade, RG. He seems to come back right around this time, every evening. But I guess we'll need to look for a coloured leg band to be sure.

This one just stepped towards the nestbox.  The right leg has a dark band.  I cant make out the color but if it is dark, then it must be the green band on Beatrix??

So who is chowing down on some food right in front of the cam lens??  I didnt see this one fly down as I was away for a bit.      Did anyone see who it is?

I'm still thinking it was probably a juvie. Don't think Princess or Ivy come back to the nestbox these days, but who knows?

Well birdie whoever just took off beauuuuuutifully and every so smooooothly up and to the right.  Still think it was a parent.... Possibly Princess going back to her perch on the pole?
