Were "Cirque" patrons parking on the 7th level of Fyfe's parkade, KC?
Nope, no cars parked up there when I was there. Never seems to be cars up there in the evening, even though it is right next door to the MTS Centre.

On the way home, I also heard heard that the new Jets logo was unveiled today and many fans were lining up at the MTS Centre to buy Jets paraphernalia, causing traffic snarls :P  Wonder how long that will go on for...

??? I was just reminded that Cirque Du Soleil is at the MTS Centre from July 20th thru 24th. There is another performance tonight @ 7:30. Wonder if our Royals will still put on their own Cirque....... tonight. ::)
Well, Cirque Du Soleil sure didn't cramp the bird's flying skills last evening, gcg. ;) Could happen again tonight, I'm sure. And I would agree with ballywing, between 8:00 & 9:00 PM seems to be a good time to see the "air show". :D

And tonight could well be a good night for flying -- coolish, still breezy (though not as strong as yesterday). If you do decide to check it out tonight, GCG, good luck -- hope you luck into as great a show as last night's!  :D

My computer went ballistic on me when I was trying to quote/post.  ::) My husband will be in the downtown area tonight. He, for sure would love to view the aerial show. Please let me know a good time to go to the Cityplace parkade. Thank you so much, my phriend.  :-*

So neat to read up on the latest sightings. Kinderchick I'm totally jealous...wow that was truly an airshow! Very cool... :)
It was wonderful, DF! :D You should check it out in the later evening, if you have the time. Post on the Forum, if you would like company and I'm sure there would be people who would love to join you. Never know who or what you might see. It certainly did surprise me. And to see all 5 together was unbelievable! 8)

DreamFalcon, I don't know if you're located in Winnipeg but, if you are, it's well worth a trip downtown to see what you might see. The rooftop of the Cityplace parkade (old Eaton's parkade) is a great viewing place because you can easily see the Radisson and the Manitoba Hydro building, as well as many of the nearby rooftops. I've been up there a number of times and haven't yet had to leave without seeing at least one of the birds. Last night, though, was exceptionally good!

5:05am  Looks like one birdie perched on the corner of the nest box, the light is too dim to see who.
