TPC, Is there any chance CBC will allow the cam to continue for at least another week? The Royal chicks continue to return home at night, and like clockwork, take flight at the same time in the A.M. Many from the forum watch for the teeners to return home as most parents do. Please, whatever you can do, I am sure you have the support of all of us, am I right, forum?

Not much chance I'm afraid GCG.  The birds are around for an hour maybe two of view each day, early morning and late at night when most folks aren't watching the cams like the phanatics.  Usually we switch off a couple of days past fledge, but since the Brandon chicks had fledged and we had Carson to return, we have gotten an extra couple of weeks.  So sorry, y'all will have to go "cold turkey" shortly ...

Thank you so much, TPC for keeping the cam going for the extra time. From me to you, CBC, Shaw, Dennis, Eye-Spy, Dr. Bob, PFRP, fledgewatchers, the forum and all allowing us to see the Brandon family. there are no words to express our thanks for this extraordinary falcon season. Always remember that, I too, am one of those phanatics that start watching and reading , with my morning coffee no later than 4:00A.M.

I guess we're really lucky that we have people on the ground reporting in what they've seen, both in Brandon and in both Winnipeg locations. Definitely not the same, but I know that lately I sometimes forget to check the cam because usually there's nobody there. Sigh . . . the end of the season definitely leaves a hole.

My husband was downtown last night. He said the only Royal he saw was sitting on the edge of the old nest, other side of Radisson. Anyone else see this?

From all the yakking when she first arrived, I'm guessing it's Bea .  Nice cool day, the kids don't have to hide out in the shade.

One of the others tired to come to the nest box as well, but miss-judged the landing and had to take off.
