...The adults talk to the chicks to encourage them to keep tapping their way out of the shells.  The process takes a long time so its in fits and starts, so a little encouragement from Mom and then everyone has a nap ... then more tapping and encouragement and another nap ... you get the idea  ;D
I did hear a tapping sound in the nestbox about mid afternoon and wondered what it was. It sounded like someone/thing was tapping on the wooden nestbox, though. Would we be able to hear the tapping sound? ???

Don't know if the microphone is sensitive enough but I guess it would be possible if all the conditions were right (no wind, sirens etc).  It could also have been something like a cable or something that was a little loose tapping on a nearby support or something similar.  Our cabling is snugged down so as to disturb the birds as little as possible but there is alot of other equipment on the roof.  But who knows ...

The shade is making it impossible to see more than the "bump" that is one of the adults asleep, head down on the eggs.  Took a look at the playback and still eggs at this point, so maybe tomorrow ...

The egg closest to the camera and to the back - is that a feather sticking to the egg on the bottom or a feather sticking out of the egg?  Something is waving in the wind.

It will be something stuck to or stuck under the egg.  When the chicks hatch, their down isn't long enough to wave in the any kind of breeze :)

Princess is on the eggs right now. For a bit she was standing above them and kept looking at them. Then a lot of talking by her and she has settled down again. Hungry??

Bit early in the day for her ... could be talking to the chicks in the eggs. Ivy sat panting on the eggs for a couple of minutes and then got up and looked into the camera, probably wondering if there is A/C on other side.

Don't think so, birdnut. I think the feathers waving in the wind may just be "leftovers". :-\

Interesting ... Ivy hopped of the eggs and went and sat on the boxedge for a moment or two.  He kept an eye on the eggs but he was definitely looking or hearing something.  If there was a sound out "there" I'm afraid I couldn't hear it, I was accessing the cams through the backdoor so that I could switch between views.  He's currently circling around the eggs trying to get settled back on them ... and now he's down in exactly the same position he as in before he hopped off them ...
