Quote from: The Peregrine Chick on May 19, 2011, 20:25...The adults talk to the chicks to encourage them to keep tapping their way out of the shells. The process takes a long time so its in fits and starts, so a little encouragement from Mom and then everyone has a nap ... then more tapping and encouragement and another nap ... you get the idea I did hear a tapping sound in the nestbox about mid afternoon and wondered what it was. It sounded like someone/thing was tapping on the wooden nestbox, though. Would we be able to hear the tapping sound?

The egg closest to the camera and to the back - is that a feather sticking to the egg on the bottom or a feather sticking out of the egg? Something is waving in the wind.
Princess is on the eggs right now. For a bit she was standing above them and kept looking at them. Then a lot of talking by her and she has settled down again. Hungry??
