Radisson - 2011 / Ivy & Princess
The Peregrine Chick:
Did a bit of checking and since there has been enough light at 0500 this morning, there have been two meals so far one about 0520 and the second at about 0635, so I'm pretty sure Princess was out looking for Ivy and the chicks' midday meal .... she's moved the chicks around enough so that she can keep them covered and watch out the box for himself ...
The Peregrine Chick:
1101 hrs
The kids are in a pile but still doing some crying for Mum. They look serene and sound asleep but they are still making a wee bit of protest at being left on their own.
And as I type this, guess who just hopped in, sans food. She's got them under her and they do not like being shuggled! Lots of muffled squeaks and chirups. :D
Ellie:
Looks like the first day of learning to "grow-up". Also the first of the "poop-art" course that we have seen!! ;D
The Peregrine Chick:
1045 hrs
Princess left not to defend, but rather I think to find retrieve food for herself or the kids ... at the moment the tots are all sitting up and "chatting" with each other ... now all cuddling into the comfort of a chickpile ... well except for one who definitely wants his mommy or a snack ... oops, even he has succumbed to the lure of the chickpile ...
