When Beatrix was on the ledge, she was very interested in what was under the louvers.

It looked like Cade jumped off, there was some screeching and wing flapping by Bea so something was up then one of the adults delivered and quickly took off and at the same time, I saw what looked like Cade bump the wall just under the box. Then he disappeared. It happened really fast.

Wow.     It all happened so fast.   I saw Cade "jump",  then Beatrix started eating something in the box.    Was is a drop or is she eating scraps?

Was that Cade just below the nest box when the snack was delivered?

I do believe she is a tad hungry.  Cade better watch out before she decides to defeather him and take a bite!

Should have been more explicit with my last post.  At a distance, as the Peregrine is waddling back to the nest box it could be mistaken for a porcupine waddling along.  The tail of the peregrine dragging the same as a porcupines.

Its a good analogy ...  :)

I know Ellie, this is hilareous. Is there like a mouse or something in that crack? He keeps peeking under and waddling back and forth, back and forth,, I think he moves a bit quicker than a porcupine though. Oh,, maybe company coming down for another visit? Nope both back on the nest now! Great view from here though.  :)
