Really, Zoey?  That's interesting.  We were so impatient!

My friend the accountant told me that sometime tomorrow morning around 9:30 or 10:00, just after coffee, the remote positioning system would be tested for Tracy to use to do just that.  Tracy mentioned that she would be posting a note to let all know that there may be a couple "movements" around that time while the system is activated.

I looked up the date that the first chick was hatched last year and it was May 28  also.

My suggestion for naming the chicks is an homage to Princess & Trey and their perseverence through horrible weather conditions - what about something like..... Wind, Rain & Snow?

I posted under "camera placement" and asked if Tracy would pull back the camera just a bit, so we would have more of a view as they move around.  I realize it means not so close a view, but just a little might do the trick.

I was at work watching and missed the third one hatch, but saw it shortly after!  They are too sweet!

I just got back home a while ago so haven't had a chance to check the webcam til about an hour or so ago. I didn't get the nap I had hoped for but that too was worth it, got shots of an osprey !!  Yeah seeing the last one hatch was definately worth the wait that's for sure!!!

I do remember Tracy saying they would adjust it when needed, I'm just not sure how easy or hard it is for them to do. - Hopefully they don't have to climb up the building to change the view  ;D ;D - as it may need adjusting alot!  ::)

I think we all want to see a feeding it two as well, but so far, they keep there back to the camera so we can't see that.  I wished we could change that camera angle just a bit as well.  Keep wanting to adjust my window but its all ready at the bottom.  Can just barely see a few bits of fluff. I was trying to remember, and it seems to be that the angle or view changed a bit last week, (could be wrong)so hopefully they can change it remotely.

I noticed the quiet forum too - sort of like the 'Calm AFTER the Storm' I guess - hatching was the main focus, stressing about the wind & rain, waiting & wondering - now we can relax and watch the chicks grow.  :)

I think you're right, Deedream.  After all those late nights, everyone is resting with Princess!  lol

Well I could not do anything today except watch, I was determined to see that last chick hatch.  It was worth all the watching. I was so tired today though that I had a nap after supper.  lol.  I see the forum is a lot quieter tonight, perhaps others are having a rest too.   ;D :) :)

I realize you can't sit there 24/7 and constantly move the camera, but I too would be happy if the camera pulled back a little bit.  I love the close-up shots, but since right now we can't see the bottom part of Princess's body, we can't  see the babies.  I saw the top of some fluff, not not the real thing.
