UND Water Tower, Grand ForksAt the end of the nesting season in 2009, the peregrines' home, the Smiley Tower in downtown Grand Forks, was demolished. A year before, the Grand Forks Project installed a new nestbox on the University of North Dakota water tower on campus. When the birds returned in 2010, they made the transition to the new nestsite with no trouble whatsoever.
There is no webcam at this location, but you can see photos of all the birds at
Grand Forks Project's Photo Gallery .
