Notice to P&T: After your PG-13 FEST the Phanatics SUGGEST, you'll both need a REST - so go give a TEST to the NEST on the WEST, where you'll never be STRESSED and soon we'll be BLESSED with a few little GUESTS ,and we’ll all be OBSESSED watching Trey clean the NEST that  the cute little PESTS pooped in and MESSED !!!... (up)!!  :P :P ;D

Greetings all!

I'm new to peregrine watching, so any tips about the distinguishing features (other than their leg bands) of Trey & Princess would be most welcome. I have recently started a position in the Kensington building and I was very excited to see both peregrines on the cornice of the Sterling building at various times on both Thursday & Friday this week!

I have a similar vantage to the pictures of "her Highness?" posted yesterday. Just before Princess(?) spent ~2hrs sitting on that corner, I saw a flutter of feathers as Trey(?) appeared to be trying to sit on her... I guess this is some of the frisky-falcon behaviour that might continue over the weekend!

I look forward to next week's sightings!
Welcome Seven!!!  Liz is right...we're all nuts and then some!!

Welcome aboard Seven!!  And yes ..err that was definitely frisky behaviour you saw.  That was your first peregrine mating ritual  ;)   Looking forward to your observations!

Well at least things are progressing as they should. Now we will have to wait and see what time brings to our Canadian Peregrines! :)

1320 hrs - found Trey :o

After a little of the funny bunny, he's sitting on the top of the sign and she's staying on the J.  In my professional opinion, these two are exhibiting typical raptor copulatory rituals.  And that in the throes of peregrine passion, the heat these two are generating I'm sure are burning through my retinas  ;D

Actually, all looks better than good.  The copulatory period is a bit longer than yesterday which could mean they are earlier in the cycle or it could mean that practice is making perfect and there are fewer failed attempts at copulation.  All in all a wonderful sign that we will have eggs soon enough folks.
WOO HOO!!!  Now...we all have to send good vibes to these two.  When y'all read this, you have to repeat this:
" NEST ON THE WEST"   :D
