Sorry for the delay, in a meeting  8)
hmm, a cool meeting, wonder what that was about?

Nope, just regular, ye-olde, work meeting.  Nothing to do with the peregrines.  The glasses are my "professional" face  ;)

1329 hrs (local) - sorry, I lied - we are getting the occasional gust that fluffs up her feathers enough that she "wakes" up and looks royally annoyed.  She hasn't needed to change position to keep from getting blown off the eggs however.  And now her eyes are closed again and her beak is in the gravel again.

close to 1330 hrs (local) - napping on the eggs, head is tucked away from the camera but still looks like her.  Wind still giving the cam a shake and barely ruffling her feathers.  For those of you who remember last year ... nothing like last year!!

I know Larry was working on trying to sync the cam with the remote access with the digital recorder we want to have operating again this year, haven't heard how he made out this weekend, but if I talk to him this evening, I will report back ... From home I can capture images quickly but not here at work, think the viewing software is too smart but I will see what I can do and post some images for y'all because I realize you must be jonesing for a fix by this point!!

12noon - Princess is sound asleep on the eggs and the breeze is bothering the webcam more than its bothering her.  Still don't know the full egg count yet.

There's been a car accident at the intersection of Smith and Portage. Both drivers walked away from it but there are firetrucks & police there. Didn't seem to bother the peregrines. Can you see them Tracy?

a little deviation here and there never hurt anyone :)

we have several 'closets' for that sort of thing.. one is the fetish closet.. and you'll have to read back over time to see what that is all about.. lol

Deviations, not deviants lol ( and we're going to get kicked off the island )
When will the camera be up and running?

Not soon enough Mother Hen :'(

I sure do miss not seeing those little creatures flying at this end. I told  a co worker  about the peregrines nesting in the same spot as last year........She was  almost  upset a little. Her explaination was the best yet. All she said "BirdBrains"and that was it. I guess she has that right!!!When will the camera be up and running?

0900 hrs - sorry, its Princess, she's turned around on the eggs and I can see her "crown" now that she's facing me.  Actually, I missed the turn so I still don't know if we have a fourth yet (will do better next time  :-\).  She's got her eyes closed and is going back to sleep.  All still very calm on ledge central.

0850 hrs - looks like Trey on the eggs, and really asleep.  There is a bit of a breeze but its barely ruffling his feathers and he is really asleep, head down and regular breathing, do popping his head up to look around or whatever.  Very calm and serene.
