1155 hrs (local) - its been a quiet, comfortable, downright blissful morning for Princess and Trey.  Trey is on duty and the moment and he is enjoying the protection the Hotel is providing from the south-soutwest winds.  Unfortnately, the winds are suppose to shift to the south with 60 km/h gusts, then on Monday shift to the north with 60km/h gusts and then taper off Monday evening.  I suspect that wind will be shifting soon as the rest of the forecast is bang on, becoming cloudy in the afternoon - its overcast now - and we are closing in on our forecasted high of 20 - its 16c at last report.

Taken in the last 5 minutes ...

Note: The cam is already getting whacked by the wind so we will see how many photos we manage to get this afternoon.  Will post what I can in the photo gallery ...

1145 hrs (local) - the wind may be dropping at the ledge, haven't seen as much "fluffing" in the last little while and Princess is napping with her head up, not something she does when she's trying to keep out of the wind.  She's been off the eggs entirely to stretch her legs so it definitely is warm enough today for her (and Trey) to be more relaxed about being velcroed to the eggs.  Will be interesting to see what happens this afternoon when the ledge is in the shade ...

1100 hrs (local) - Princess has been on the nest all morning and though the wind has been NW 20 km/h + this morning, its also been very sunny and warm on the ledge.  Warm enough that the radiant heat from the Hotel is making my images less than perfect for the photo gallery.  We have had a couple of flips, one kept her on her head for a good 10 seconds (she was plastered up against the retaining wall) but no harm, eggs didn't even roll much so the adults have a decent scrape going there.  Its was warm enough that Princess didn't even hurry back to the eggs, she leisurely wandered round and back - took about 3 minutes, before settling down again.  The wind is forecasted to diminish to light so the afternoon may just be a dream for Trey & Princess.

Taken in the last 10 minutes.  More photos in today's gallery - May 16

TPC, thank you so much for all the great updates on Princess and Trey. They give a really good idea of what is happening on the ledge.
