Observations July 15th

Air quality control report:

Again folks...not much to say.  I saw what I believe to be one of the boys on the 'N' of the Radisson sign facing East this evening and saw one, perhaps Vesper on the Rogers building.  Didn't see anything else...not even a sparrow 
It was windy and raining, so perhaps they are just hanging around until the weather is much better...which won't be until Saturday. 
See most of ya'll tomorrow!  I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the update, Bccs -- City Place seems to be the one consistent perching place, doesn't it? Mind you, the rest of them could be up there, too, huddled below the sight line, staying out of the wind.

We saw a lot of that on the weekend, didn't we.

Yep -- smart birds . . . and more than a bit sneaky . . . okay, stealthy (which is probably a good thing for a bird of prey!) . . .

air quality check. One on City Place, no trace of the others. Very windy and coolish.

So glad to here that Vesper is having so much fun that she has to "yuk" it up while flying also!
Debc52....good for you.....but I'd go "stir" crazy if I couldn't go out for a bit.......but that is just me!

Bccs, be careful up on your roof!  I just went out to the backyard with the dogs and could not believe how windy it is out there.  (One of the joys of being retired is that you don't have to go out when the weather is yucky. I haven't been out of the house for 1 day and a half! )

Oh, bccs, I am so glad that you saw her and that she was flying so well.  Say what you will about the yelling but I still think she is "my" little princess!

Air quality check. No sooner did I open the door to the roof did I hear our Vesper yalling her head off. She was having a grand old fly above the Post Office and City Place. Round and round, swooping and soaring. Just stood and watched her for a couple of minutes.

She made her way over to the N and hand a lovely landing. Trey was a few letters away from her, she started yelling at him. Within seconds, he took off and last I saw he was over City Place.   lol   Vesper still figured it out that she'd get a lot more attention if she'd just quit yelling.
